| On 24 th March
Settembrini students took part in Comenius Language project called "Different
energy uses between two different countries;Italy and Finland".This project
had two different phases ,visiting foreigners countries (Finland and Italy )
from two different student groups (Italians and Finnish) and the Cd Rom
production, in English , about this experience.Settembrini group left
Italian land on March 24th to Vaanta a little town very close to
Helsinki.They stayed fourteen days in Vantaa hostel and took part in
different activities as sports , visited Natural Preservation Reserve,visited
some Power plants and worked together with Finnish student split in
different groups in the project.Here you can read the

March24th
We Arrived to Helsinki-Vantaa
airport at 3.30 o clock. We had accommodation in the hostel in
Tikkurilla.

March 25th
We went to school at 9.00 o’clock and met some
Finnish teachers and Finnish students. The students talked their
personal presentation, the Finnish school presentation and watched cd
of Comenius project on the computer.
In the afternoon we went to Helsinki with
Finnish students and looked at the principal monuments.

March 26th
We went to school at 9.00 o’clock. We
went to Helsinki with Finnish teachers and looked at the main
monuments. In the afternoon we went to picnic in Nuuksio. We walked in
the typical Finnish forest and walked on the ice lake, ate the typical
Finnish food. We came back to the hostel at 17.00 o’clock.

March 27th
We went to school at 9.00 o’clock. We
worked with Finnish students for the different uses of energy in Italy
and Finland. In the afternoon we visited the Viikki wastewaterplant.
Come back to the hostel at 15.30 o’clock.

March 28th
We went to school at 9.00 o’clock. In the
morning we worked with Finnish students for the European project. In the
afternoon we visited the Martinlaakso powerplant. It is very
interesting. We came back to the hostel at 15.30 o’clock |
March 29 th
We went to Helsinki by train at 10.00
o’clock. We saw the old market near the harbour . We went to Suomenlinna
island at 11.00 o´ clock by navy. We saw the old fort and the
fortification. We came back to Helsinki at 14.00 o’clock and went to the
shop. We came back to the hostel at 15.00 o’clock |

March 30th
In the morning we went to
saw the icehockey match. In the evening we went to bowling

March 31th
We went to the school
at 9.00 o’clock. In the morning we worked with Finnish students for European
project. In the afternoon visited the St. Lauri’s and Tuusula’s churches
with the Finnish teachers. Come back to the hostel at 15.30 o’clock |
April 1 st
We went to school at
9.00 o’clock. In the morning visited the hair cutting department and the
Finnish students washed or cuted our hair. In the afternoon went to the
sauna centre of the lake kuusijarvi , and the volunteer played the sauna and
swimmed in the lake. We return to the hostel at 16.00 o’clock.

April 2 nd
We went to school at 9.00 o’clock. In the
morning we worked with Finnish students for European project. In the
afternoon visited the national museum with the girls from hair department.
At the 15.00 o’clock visited Helsinki with Finnish girls. We come back to
the hostel at 16.00 o’clock.

April 3rd
In the morning visited the city hall at 9.00
o’clock with Finnish students. At 11.30 o’clock eated the special Finnish
lunch. In the afternoon we worked with Finnish students for European
project. We come back to the hostel at 15.00 o’clock.

April 4 th
We went to school at
9.00 o’clock. In the morning we played football and unihockey with finnish
students. The afternoon was free.

April 5 th
Was free.
|
April 6th
We went airport at
13.00 o'clock. We come back to Italy with finnish students. We arrived to
Malpensa airport at 17.45 o'clock.
