The topic of the project is investigating  employment in the European Community, that is explaining the different working experiences of young European students and the job opportunities available after the diploma.

During the first project meeting in Nelson from 13 to 16 November, the different teachers changed their ideas on  how to introduce the material prepared by the students split in groups on the different school web pages.

During the month of November from 22 to 29 November 2003 five students from Nelson College and the head of public service Terry Mottershead spent one week hosted by the Italian families and visited Cesi, the fire Brigade station in via Messina, the centre of Milan and were welcomed by the City Council as European guests.

The Italian students prepared some Power Point presentations about their school, Milan , San Siro Stadium  and entertainment.

In March 2004 the Italian students will be hosted by the English families for a week and will take part in different activities, such as the visit to the Houses of Parliament.
