Our class IV TIEN
composed of 16 students was split into different groups: each group decided
to write some articles about the organization of our school, the working
experiences or the report about the visits to Milan from Nelson College
students in November 2003 and to Nelson College from Italian students in
March 2004.When we met the English students from Nelson and
MBCollege ( Birmingham) we introduced some Power
Point Presentations about Milan, our qualifications and job opportunities
too.We used the Mimerdesk organized by the Finnish students and teachers
that allowed us to keep in touch with them and collected their answers to
our questionnaire. Our friend Tresova Elvis went to Finland, Vantaa for a
Comenius meeting in April 2004 and there he introduced our activities to our
partners . All material was inserted on a Web site organized by us
cointaining pictures of the activities too and copied on a CD that
represents our activity. We were helped by our teachers R. Baroni (tutor) G. Fasano (electronics) and G. Capone (IT telecommunication) who gave us
good advice about the organization of the Web.

We are students from the electrical and
mechanical department and in February 2005 we visited Matthew Boulton
College and some companies like Jaguar and Cadbury (well-known for the
chocolate production). We worked with the English students from the
electrical- electronics department in the labs and introduced some Power
Point Presentations about our specialization, working experiences and
vocational subjects. We were welcomed by the Mayor of Birmingham in the
Council and a trip to London was offered by the International Office as
Milan and Birmingham have been sister cities for 30 years. M.Boulton College
supported us offering free meals, free transport to the companies and some
gifts. We got a certificate of the experience. |
