Il progetto Comenius “BITE the BYTE”  ha come scopo l’analisi delle potenzialità e dei diversi metodi di integrazione delle Tecnologie Informatiche nel processo educativo.

L’ Istituto Maxwell / Settembrini   è partner di questo progetto insieme ad altre scuole tedesche, spagnole, turche, greche e portoghesi. Il progetto promuove la mobilità tra studenti ed insegnanti, facilitando in questo modo lo scambio di conoscenze ed esperienze.

La mobilità si realizza principalmente attraverso  conferenze internazionali, ma vengono promosse anche  altre iniziative  tra le quali lo scambio di studenti fra il nostro Istituto e la  Escola Secundária José Gomes Ferreira  di Lisbona.

Gli studenti portoghesi ospiteranno dal 17 al 23 febbraio, tre nostri studenti: due ragazzi dell’Istituto Professionale Settembrini ed una ragazza dell’ Istituto  Aeronautico Maxwell.  I nostri ragazzi frequenteranno la scuola portoghese e saranno ospitati dalle famiglie di tre studenti di Lisbona. Due volte al giorno è prevista la stesura di un diario on line corredato da foto che sarà possibile leggere in tempo reale anche dall’Italia.

In marzo i ruoli si invertiranno e i nostri studenti ospiteranno i loro amici portoghesi con le stesse modalità di scambio.

In entrambi i momenti i ragazzi saranno accompagnati da un insegnante.

Lo scambio sarà preceduto da incontri on line (Skype o Live Messenger).

BITE THE BYTE:  “A Day in the Life of a Student in Lisbon/ Milan”.

The Comenius Project BITE the BYTE is set to explore the potential and the different ways of integrating Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the teaching-learning process.

Institute Maxwell and Settembrini  are  partners in this Project, together with schools from Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece and Turkey. This project promotes the mobility of teachers and students in order facilitate contact and the exchange of knowledge and experience.

Mobility is mainly achieved by international  meetings but other initiatives are welcomed such as the  student exchange between the two partners, Escola Secundária José Gomes Ferreira  in Lisbon and our schools

Portuguese students will welcome and host, in February 2010 - from he 17^th  to the 23^rd - three Italian student: two boys from the Settembrini Vocational School and a girl from Maxwell Aeronautical School.

The Italian students will attend Portuguese school and become a member of the Portuguese students’ family.

In March/2010, roles will be reversed and the Italian students will host their Portuguese friends who will attend their school and become a member of their family. In either case, students will be accompanied by a teacher.

This Exchange will be prepared by online meetings (via Skype, Live Messenger, etc.) so the students get acquainted and the event can be prepared.
